American Horror Story: Murder House is the first season of the FX anthology horror television series American Horror Story, created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk. The season premiered on October 5, 2011, and concluded on December 21, 2011. It consists of 12 episodes and follows the Harmon family, who move into a haunted house in Los Angeles.
