The Neverending Story is an epic fantasy novel by German writer Michael Ende, first published in 1979. The story follows a young boy named Bastian Balthazar Bux who finds a magical book that transports him to the fantastical world of Fantasia. In Fantasia, Bastian meets a number of creatures, including a horse named Artax.
Artax is a white horse with a long mane and tail. He is a loyal and gentle creature, and he quickly becomes Bastian’s friend. Artax helps Bastian on his journey through Fantasia, and he is always there for him when he needs him.
