American Horror Stories: Aura is the ninth episode of the first season of the American Horror Stories anthology series. It premiered on July 15, 2021, on FX on Hulu. The episode was written by Manny Coto and directed by John J. Gray. It stars Matt Bomer, Gavin Creel, Sierra McCormick, and Paris Jackson.
The episode follows Sam (Bomer) and Michael (Creel), a gay couple who move into a new house in the suburbs. They soon discover that the house is haunted by the ghost of a young woman named Aura (McCormick). Aura was murdered by her father, and her spirit is trapped in the house. Sam and Michael try to help Aura find peace, but they soon realize that she is not alone. The house is also haunted by a number of other ghosts, including a group of children who were killed in a fire.
